STRUTHERS — Chris Felker scored two goals and Sean Sikich the other for the Cardinals (5-3-1) at Valley Sports. Clay Hicks made an assists while goalkeeper David Perry made one save. For the Irish (2-4-1), Chris Motley scored on an assist from Patrick O’Brien. Marty Klee made four saves.

Liberty 1, Fitch 1

LIBERTY — Tom Stark scored for the Leopards (3-3-1). Goalkeeper Ryan Halacki made six saves. Adam Justice scored for the Falcons. Goalkeeper Chris Platton made two saves.

Beaver Local 5, Howland 1

HOWLAND — Travis Lynch and Jordan Fetty each had two goals and one assist to spearhead Beaver Local. Tyler Schultz had the other goal. Cameron Francis scored Howland’s only goal on an assist from Tyler Shaw. Andrew Rice made five saves. Howland’s Robert Daniels made six saves and Dan Bedich had one.

Canfield 2, Hubbard 1

CANFIELD — P.J. Stickle scored both goals for Canfield. Tony ElHayek and Jordan Ricks each had an assist while goalkeeper Mike Thomas made three saves. For the Eagles, Nick Pedaline scored and Steve Roose made 12 saves. JVs: 3-3.

Boardman 6, Ursuline 2

YOUNGSTOWN — Zaire Morrison netted two goals while Christian Silvestri had one goal and two assists to spark Boardman (5-1-2) at the Wick Recreation Area. Nico DiIanni added one goal and one assist while Drew Rober and Garrett Pancake had one goal each to support the Spartans. Pancake made six saves.For Ursuline, Kevin Kablan scored both goals and Mike Baker made 11 saves.

Poland 9, Salem 0

POLAND — Taylor Malaniak had four goals and Leo D’Angelo a pair. Matt Mrozek, Kevin Krumpak and Brian Ciccone had one apiece for the Bulldogs (5-0). Salem goalkeeper Rodney Hughes had 13 saves, while Poland keepers Cooper Kostelic and Alex Magni combined for four stops. JVs: Poland, 1-0.

GREENFORD — Katelin Smith scored the goals for the Raiders. Emily Meals had one assist while goalkeeper Kristin Robinson made nine saves. Christine Wassum scored both goals for Waterloo.

GREEN — Goalkeeper Ali Tolich made five stops for the Falcons (2-3-2). Green is 2-5-2. JVs: Green, 2-0.

CORTLAND — Nicole Moldovan scored three goals and made an assist for the Bulldogs (6-1-2). Lindsay Clark and Marissa Defrancesco scored two goals each while Laura Griffith, Jen Ulam and Ali Olbrych had one each. Ulam made three assists while Justine Defrancesco had one. Moldovan and Casey Boldt combined for three saves. Maplewood goalkeeper Valerie Blank made 20 saves.

NEW MIDDLETOWN — Jaclyn Tabaka and Lexi Zubick each scored two goals to lead Springfield.

Goalkeeper Tiffany Johnson made 14 saves. JVs: Harding, 6-1.

LEAVITTSBURG — Briana Curd had both goals with assists from Chase Connors and Megan Buckley to power Ursuline (4-5-0). Anita Smith made four saves. Gabby Borawiec scored LaBrae’s goal while Kelsie Daniel made 10 saves.

Newton Falls 1, Southeast 0

NEWTON FALLS — Angela Giuliano scored the game’s lone goal with an assist from Brooke Rodgers for the Tigers (5-1-1). Newton Falls out-shot the Pirates, 33-3, and had a 6-2 edge in corner kicks. Senior captain Rebecca Humberger had two saves for Newton Falls, while Rebecca Riemenschnied had 10 saves for Southeast (0-5-1).

Kennedy Catholic 5, Maplewood (Pa.) 0

HERMITAGE — Chelsea Bernat scored three goals to lead Kennedy Catholic (1-3). Jenna Green had one goal and two assists and Monica Riggle one goal and one assist to bolster Kennedy Catholic. Alyssa Hrisenko added one assist. Kennedy Catholic goalkeeper Angela Balint made eight saves to post the shutout. Maplewood goalie Emily Hunter made 12 saves.
