IN THE CUP! Area holes-in-one

Sam Breese of Boardman aced the No. 8 hole on the North Course at Mill Creek Golf Course. He used an 8-iron on the 133-yard hole which was witnessed by Cindy Glasser.

Ryan Smith, 15, of Hubbard aced the No. 15 hole at Deer Creek Golf Course in Hubbard. He used a 6-iron on the 148-yard hole. Zac Schidt witnessed the shot.

Mike Marino of Austintown made a hole-in-one on the No. 9 hole at Deer Creek Golf Course in Hubbard. He hit a 5-wood on the 165-yard hole. Witnesses were Mason Blackburn, Dave Devlin, Bill Gordon and Roger Mullanax.

Frank Costello of Austintown at Meander Course on the 195-yard No. 9 hole with a driving iron. His partners were Danny Costello, Cameron Santiago, John Dina and John Jenyk.

Aaron Seidler, a senior on South Range High’s golf team, aced the 135-yard No. 5 hole with a pitching wedge during Thursday’s match against United at Eagle Path. It was the first ace for Seidler, a four-year member of the golf team. Witnesses were teammate Brennan Allen and United players Ryan Sarchet and Eli Martin.

Blaise Karlovic of Campbell aced the 300-yard, par 4, No. 6 hole at Rolling Hills using a driver. Witnesses to the ace at the course in Pulaski, Pa. were Jack Maillis and Eric Rudiak.
