Hosler-Hamoodi engagement told, wedding in 2010

The engagement of Elizabeth Anne Hosler, 125 Danbury Drive, Boardman, and Aqeel Abass Jabir Hamoodi of Fort Jackson, S.C., is announced by their parents, retired Lt. Col. Roderick A. and Mrs. Hosler of the Boardman address, and Mrs. Hadimaa Raji Alwaan of Baghdad, Iraq.

The bride-elect graduated from Carlow University in Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and from Emmerson College in Boston with a master’s in journalism. She is a paralegal with the U.S. Army in Fort Sill, Okla.

The future groom, also a son of the late Abass Jabir Hamoodi, is a translator/interpreter with the U.S. Army at Fort Jackson, S.C.

The couple will be married in late 2010 when the prospective groom completes his deployment with the Army.
