Help for homeless veterans

NEW CASTLE, Pa. – Homeless veterans of the U.S. military and those who help them are invited to hear the Director of the Butler County Veteran’s Office Homeless/Outreach Clinical Coordinator speak.

The talk is set for 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday in the Lawrence County commissioner’s meeting room in the basement of the courthouse.

Shirley Noga, director of Lawrence County’s Veteran’s Office, said Daniel Slack will speak about services available to homeless veterans. These include assessment, information, referral and case management. He will also talk about Butler County’s Health Care for Homeless Veterans’ Program.
