Announcement made of Shaffer, Hunt engagement

HERMITAGE, Pa. — The engagement of Jenny Beth Shaffer of Sharon, Pa., and Patrick Hunt of St. Louis, Mo., was announced by Dr. and Mrs. Lawrence A. Shaffer of Hermitage during a reception on July 18 at their home.

Parents of the future groom are Mr. and Mrs. Michael Hunt, 2019 Sydney St., St. Louis.

Miss Shaffer graduated cum laude from the College of Wooster, where she was an art education major. She received a master’s degree in school counseling from Westminster College in New Wilmington and is an art teacher at Summit Academy Elementary School in Youngstown.

Mr. Hunt graduated from the College of Wooster, where he majored in computer science, and holds a master’s degree in studio art with a concentration in sculpture from Webster University in St. Louis. He also earned a master’s degree in photography and digital imaging from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, where he is an adjunct professor. A self-employed artist, he has exhibited his works at several prestigious museums and galleries.

Invitations will be issued for the couple’s July 2010 wedding and reception at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown.
