Mom rams robber

WARREN — A Niles woman rammed her car into a man she said confronted her with a gun as she stopped at a stop sign with her 4-year-old son in her car.

The woman told police the man and two other men accosted her at the corner of Front Street and Austin Avenue Southwest at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

After she hit the gunman, she drove to a relative’s house to call police.

She said she didn’t know how badly the man was injured by the impact of her car, which was damaged at the front on the driver’s side.

The man with the gun was wearing a red hoodie and red baseball cap pulled down to his eyes, she said.
