Katherine Davison and Gebil Gebremedhin
Katherine Davison and Gebil Gebremedhin, both of Delft, The Netherlands, are engaged, her parents announce.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Linda Weaver of Poland, and Tedd and Gail Davison of Greenwood, S.C.
The prospective groom is the son of Akberet Yohannes of Washington, D.C., and the late Ghebremedhin Neguse.
The couple will be united in marriage at an invitation-only ceremony at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 11 at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Youngstown. At the Davis Center in the gardens, the invited guests will congratulate the couple immediately after the wedding.
Miss Davison earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Mich., and a master’s degree in education and international development for the University of Leeds in Leeds, United Kingdom. She is employed as support manager with Laureate Education in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
The prospective groom is employed as a communications officer with Ziggo Telecommunications Company in The Hague. He is pursuing professional certification in information technology.
