Kablan nets 2 for Irish; Poland blanks Salem
YOUNGSTOWN — Kevin Kablan scored two goals on Monday to lead the Ursuline High boys soccer team to a 4-1 win over Ashtabula Lakeside.
Tyler Stimpert and John Buckley netted one goal each for the Irish (4-1-1).
Earning assists were Michael Lasko, John Crowe and Kablan. Goalkeeper Mike Baker made five saves.
For Lakeside, Will Swedenborg scored and Kelsey Harper made 13 saves.

COLUMBIANA — Tanner Goss had two goals while Justin Kleinknecht and Zack Moore each had a goal and an assist for the Rebels.
Jacob Mellige, Adam Roberts, Tyler Ogle and David Clemmer also had goals.
David Ensign scored for the Bluejays.

COLUMBIANA — Andy Lacefield scored two goals and two assists for the Raiders (4-2-1). Jordan Baker scored twice and Andrew O’Leary once. Tyler Ausnehmer had an assist.

POLAND — Tatum Marucci had two goals while Abbie Chandler and Kasey Malenic each added a goal and an assist for Poland (5-0). Rachael Ames also scored while Lindsey Cooper had an assist. Taylor Erdel and Abbie Frank combined on three saves for the Bulldogs, who held a 28-6 edge in shots on goal.
For Salem (4-1-1), Allison Thompson saved 23 shots.

CANFIELD — Cardinals (3-0-3) goalkeeper Jackie Podolsky made two saves while Eagles (3-4-2) netminder Mariah Gordon stopped 12 shots. JVs: Canfield, 5-0.

Braeden Mincher added two goals and an assist, Ashlyn Italiano scored a goal and Jaclyn Tabaka added two assists. Tiffany Johnson made four saves. For Crestview, Emily Corll scored both goals.

BRISTOLVILLE — Katlyn Rasmussen had three goals and Lexi Campbell had one for Bristol (5-1-1), which trailed 1-0 at halftime. Samantha Hickey had four saves and Heidi Ulrich had three saves.
