Chen’s homer lifts Scrappers to 3-2 win

NILES — Chun Chen’s home run in the 11th inning gave the Mahoning Valley Scrappers a 3-2 win over the Staten Island Yankees at Eastwood Field on Tuesday night.

The Scrappers’ win evened the New York-Penn League championship series at 1-1, with the deciding game tonight at Eastwood Field at 7:05 p.m.
