Ohio Treasury launches new Web site

COLUMBUS — The Ohio Treasury unveiled its new Web site today at http://www.tos.gov.ohio.

The site features free financial education and resources, the Office of Constituent Affairs, and top initiatives of the treasury, including Smart Money Choices Strategies, Census 2010 and new strategies for investing in economic development.

“This Web site is meant to be interactive and engaging — a place where residents are encouraged to learn about the Treasury, the services we provide, and how this office impacts them,” Ohio Treasurer Kevin L. Boyce said.

Visitors to the site can register for upcoming Smart Money Choices Conferences, access applications for economic development and other treasury programs, or learn more at their desk top about financial topics and resources.

In April, Gov. Ted Strickland signed an executive order that established the Ohio Complete Count Committee for the 2010 Census. Boyce was named chairman of this committee. Visitors to the Ohio Treasury Web site can link to the Ohio Complete Count Web site for more information about the upcoming census.
