Opening of Courts event set for Monday

YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning County Bar Association and the county’s judges will have their annual Opening of Courts ceremony at 11 a.m. Monday in the courtroom of Judge Maureen A. Sweeney of common pleas court.

Speaker will be Judge Theresa Dellick of juvenile court.

In keeping with tradition, attorneys who have joined the bar association this year and new lawyers who have recently passed the bar examination and have become members of the county bar will be introduced.

Immediately after the ceremony, the bar association will host a luncheon for those attending at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Hall on Via Mount Carmel.

Atty. Thomas E. Infante will be honored with the Professionalism Award, given to the attorney who embodies the qualities set forth in the Lawyer’s Creed and has practiced law for 30 years or more.

The new members being introduced are: Carla J. Baldwin, Judith A. Carlin, Edward Z. Czopur, Scott S. Duko, Jess T. Enyeart, Matthew H. Gambrel, Megan M. Graff, Chase A. Mallory, James P. Moore, Daniel P. Osman, Ronald J. Rowe, Donald P. Scott, Catherine M. Stone, Kristie M. Weibling, Thaddeus S. Wexler and Daniel S. White.
