CANFIELD — More than 100 vendors will be participating in the annual fall Market on the Green to be sponsored by Canfield Junior Women’s League on Saturday.

Available will be seasonal decorations, crafts, antiques and fresh produce.

A new addition this year will be pumpkin decorating from noon to 2 p.m. for children 5 to 10 years of age, and there will be face painting and clown entertainment.

Each of the vendors participating in the event rent a 12x12 foot space for $50. Proceeds from the rentals will be used to help provide three $1,000 scholarships for graduates of Canfield High School.

The funds will be in escrow until next June. At that time students will compete for the scholarships by completing an essay, which will be submitted anonymously to a panel for judging.

The organization has been awarding the scholarships yearly for the past 40 years.
