55-PLUS CLUB

MINERAL RIDGE

• The 55-Plus Club of Mineral Ridge will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. Hostesses will be Lil Tudor and Vera Fry. There will be games and the group will dine out.

AARP 4611

• A meeting of AARP 4611 will be at noon Wednesday at St. Augustine Church on Parmelee Avenue. Members are reminded to take school supplies. July, August and September birthdays will be observed and there will be a 50-50 raffle. Illnesses should be reported to (330) 746-0889.

BOARDMAN SOUTH AARP

• Members of Boardman South AARP will meet at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 1 at the Holiday Inn South in Boardman. Elmer Haidle will preside. The menu Choices are Swiss Steak or baked scrod at $13.50. • Campbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1947 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 on Wednesday at Denny’s in Boardman.

COITSVILLE

• Coitsville Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday at Coitsville Town Hall. Pizza will be served. Devotions will be by Gerry Salaka. Birthdays and anniversaries will be observed; cards and bingo will be played, with Steve Hyrcik as caller. A 50-50 raffle will take place. New members are welcome.

CROATIAN PENSIONERS

• Girard Senior Citizens Club will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the center, 16 N. State St. Following the business meeting, a video, “Fiesta in the Sky,” will be shown and dessert will be served. Members are asked to take canned goods for Emmanuel Center.

HAPPY WANDERERS

• Happy Wanderers will meet at noon Friday at Corner House Christian Church for a program by Cheryl Bush of Trumbull County Library, The hospitality committee will be Wilma Quinn, Phyllis Thomas, Mary Ellen Wohgamuth, Joan Byrd and Teresa Pandone. Greeters will be Verda Tucker, Bob Burrows, Janice Burrows, Margaret Linn, and Millie and Pat Gilliland. Those whose last names begin with M-Z are asked to take cookies.

• Keenagers of Third Baptist Church will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Election of officers and completion of plans for two trips in 2010 are on the agenda.

LIBERTY 55-PLUS

• Liberty 55-Plus Seniors will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at First Christian Assembly Church on Cardinal Drive. Kay Herberger will preside and hostesses will be Dolly Rebraca and Betty Sferra. There will be a 50-50 raffle.

• Members of Local 1199 will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Union Hall on Belmont Avenue. New members and guests are welcome; meetings are the third Tuesday of each month. Plans are to dine out for lunch.

OBES RETIREES

• OBES Retirees will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Eat ’n Park on Market Street in Boardman. All OBES retirees are welcome.

MARTHA LUPSE

• Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played when Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church.
