“Community Connection” (6:30 a.m., WFMJ Channel 21; rebroadcast on the Time Warner Cable community access channel at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday): The Raymond John Wean Foundation is presenting its annual nonprofit summit for organizations in the community to hone their skills in board development, fundraising and strategic planning. Joel Ratner, president of the Wean Foundation, will join host Madonna Chism Pinkard to discuss the event. Next, Ana Bobby and Olga Rivera of the Youngstown State University Diversity Council will discuss the upcoming celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. Marcia Hare-Ellis, local president of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, will showcase the Salute to Black Excellence event, honoring local community leaders who have made an impact in the areas of education, politics and religion. Scott Fullerton of Ace in the Hole Marketing will inform on the Create-A-Thon, a 24-hour event that helps nonprofit organizations.
