GM parking restrictions for Obama visit


LORDSTOWN — The east end parking area of the General Motors complex here will be closed Monday and Tuesday in preparation for the visit of President Barack Obama, Tom Mock, complex communications manager, said today.

The president is scheduled to visit the facility Tuesday, where he will discuss the nation’s economy.

All other complex parking areas, including the one at the administration building, will remain open both days, Mock added. According to a press release from the White House sent today, the visit will be closed to the public and will be by invite only. The event will be open to the press.
