YOUNGSTOWN — Alex McArthur had 10 digs and 12 points and Jessica Gavin 36 assists and 10 points to lead Chaney (3-1) at the East gym. Danielle Brooks contributed 10 kills, Taylor Carter 10 kills, Diamondique Wilkens seven kills and Kiara James 20 digs to aid Chaney. JVs: Chaney won, 25-17, 17-25, 15-13.

Lakeview 25-25-19-24-15, Canfield 16-19-25-26-11

CORTLAND — Elaine Kelley had nine points, three blocks and 12 kills, Kelsey Dickey three aces and 23 assists and Rebecca Calvin 13 points and 21 assists to power Lakeview (5-0). For Canfield (0-5), Hannah Milstead had 14 points and 11 kills and Kendal Malsch three aces and 12 kills. JVs: Lakeview 25-18, 25-23.

Salem 25-25-25, Beaver Local 17-18-21

SALEM — Amy Scullion had five aces, 16 kills and two assists to lead Salem (5-0). Mariah Halleck chipped in with two aces, nine kills and one block and Olivia Mitchley six kills and two blocks. For BL (5-1), Michela Nicholson had seven assists, two blocks, one ace and five kills, and Lexi Steele seven kills and four aces. JVs: Salem 25-12, 25-13.

Hubbard 25-25-25, Girard 15-13-18

GIRARD — Jackie Carlisle had 24 kills, three aces, two digs and one block, Lexi Starheim had seven kills, two aces and two blocks and Marcy Angelo had 34 assists and four digs for Hubbard (4-0). For Girard, Chelsea Guerrieri had eight kills and five digs, Bryanna Jay had seven kills and two blocks and Lindsey Crown had five kills and one block for Girard (3-4, 1-2 AAC White). JVs: Hubbard 25-22, 25-9.

LaBrae 25-17-25-25, Struthers 13-25-15-23

STRUTHERS — Middle hitter Courtney Eldridge had 22 kills, six digs and three blocks; setter Leah Fumerola had 14 points, seven assists and 11 digs and middle hitter Olivia Wood had six aces and 10 kills for LaBrae (5-0, 4-0 AAC Blue). Senior outside hitter Martina Jurek had seven kills, one ace and 10 digs; senior middle hitter Kaitlyn Opritza had eight kills, three aces and three blocks and junior setter Alyssa Olmi had two kills, 10 assists and seven digs for Struthers (3-3, 3-1 AAC Blue). Brookfield 25-25-25, Newton Falls 18-22-18

BROOKFIELD — Ashley Swezey had 13 kills and 19 digs for Brookfield (2-6, 2-2 AAC Blue), while Tori Thompson had eight points, 23 assists and three aces and Amy Balakoff had four kills and five points. For Newton Falls, Destiny Prusky had 10 kills and five blocks, Lauren Walker had 12 digs and Kelly Casterline had 13 points.

CHAMPION — Jessica Nicholas had 11 kills, Rachael Horton had 12 points, 10 aces and two digs and Megan Frantz had 18 assists for Champion (4-1). For Campbell, Taylor Ross had eight points and three digs, Danielle Danofrio had two kills. JVs: Champion 2-0.

LIBERTY — Jesse Dan had five aces, Mindy Dykes added six blocks and Candace Coward four blocks and eight kills for Liberty (1-3). For Niles (0-4), Lindsay Bates eight blocks and 13 kills, Jessica Bennett 13 assists and Kendra Lasko four aces. JVs: Niles 25-23, 15-25, 25-16

Hoover 22-25-26-25, Boardman 25-21-24-22

BOARDMAN — Amanda Volosin had six points, 11 kills, 20 digs and 20 assists, Kristy Lake had eight points, five kills and eight blocks and Nicole Biagetti had seven points, eight kills and 14 digs for Boardman (5-3, 1-3 Federal). For Hoover (5-2, 3-0), Maggie Desrosiers had 22 kills.

Mineral Ridge 25-25-25, East Palestine 22-10-13

EAST PALESTINE — Katie Fife had seven kills, 13 blocks and 19 digs for Ridge (4-1, 4-0 ITCL 1), Megan Ben had six kills, two aces, four points and 22 digs and Jenna Spackman had 14 assists, 17 points and two aces. Emily Sansenbaugher had 18 blocks and nine kills, Kalie George had nine kills and Katie Zeh six points for EP (5-2, 2-2).

NEW MIDDLETOWN — Larissa Santangelo had eight kills, 10 blocks and three points, Kallie Rogers had four kills, 19 points, nine aces and 22 assists and Ashley Davis had 12 kills, 12 digs and 14 points to lead the Tigers (6-1, 4-0 ITCL 2). For Crestview (1-6, 0-4), Chelsea Caudill had five kills and four digs, Sarah Vanfossen had 12 digs and Morgan Newbauer had 13 assists.

Columbiana 16-25-25-25, South Range 25-16-19-18

NORTH LIMA — Columbiana was led by Marie Voitus with 34 assists and 18 points and Katie Witmer with eight kills, 10 points, six blocks and 10 digs. Kristi Couchenour also led the Clippers (3-3) with 11 kills, four points and two blocks. For South Range (2-5, 1-3), Toni Geffert had 16 assists and 13 points, Patty Schuster 12 kills and eight blocks and Madison Yanek 11 kills. JVs: Columbiana 25-23, 25-8.

Western Reserve 25-25-25, Leetonia 19-23-18

LEETONIA — Claire Ferrando had 11 points and 24 assists, Victoria Brown had 17 kills and five blocks and Sam Donges had nine digs for Reserve (5-1, 3-0 ITCL 2). For Leetonia (4-3, 2-1), Clarissa Perkins had six assists and seven kills, Lauren Ketterman had seven points and Staci Medved had 18 digs.

NORTH JACKSON — Maddie Griffiths had 21 points, 10 aces, 31 sets and 15 assists for the Bluejays (3-2, 3-0 ITCL 2), while Jessica Ripple had 16 points, two aces and 19 digs and Caitlin Keck had nine kills and 22 attacks. For Lowellville (2-3, 0-3), Ashley Moore had four points and three blocks, Jamie Hynes had seven kills, 12 attacks and two blocks and Cori Pavlicko had 13 sets and six assists. LORDSTOWN — Keeley Chaffee had four kills and one dig, Heather Darocha 20 assists and Kaitlynnne Cassidy six blocks to pace Lordstown (4-1. 2-0 Northeastern Athletic Conference). For Bloomfield, Sindey Gwinn had one kill, five digs and one assist, Darlene Skels 10 points and Brandi Buckman one ace. JVs: Lordstown, 25-12, 25-23.

YOUNGSTOWN — Jessica Donlon had 11 kills, Shanell Harris 12 kills and Meghan Tayman 34 assists to spark Youngstown Christian (1-4).
