Breast health program is Tuesday in East Palestine

EAST PALESTINE — Toni Freer, a registered nurse in the Columbiana County Health Department, presents a program on breast health at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the East Palestine Memorial Public Library.

Information will be given on how to detect a lump, how to perform self-examination, when to start getting mammograms, and how often the test is necessary.

The health department has received a grant from the Susan G. Komen for the Cure program and information about this grant will be discussed. For more information about this program, contact the library at (330) 426-3778.
