ASSOCIATIONS

• Campbell Memorial High School Alumni Association will have a general meeting at 7 p.m. Sept. 22 at the school cafeteria. Plans will be made for a tailgate party Oct. 9 at the stadium for the Red Devils vs. Champion football game, for the Nov. 14 scholarship dinner and reverse raffle, for a spring dinner and a golf tournament. • Campbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1948 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Denny’s Restaurant, Boardman. All classmates are welcome.

• Niles Chapter of the American Sewing Guild has scheduled the following: Austintown Stitch and Share to meet at 10 a.m. Thursday at Humility House, 755 Ohltown Road, for a demonstration by Theresa Campbell on “Easy Does it With Zippers.”

• Struthers K. of C. 4224 Ladies will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the hall. Members are asked to take items for a Chinese auction. Hostesses will be Louise Horvath and Martha Sarna.

• That Quilt Group I Belong To will host a shop owner’s night at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Fair Park Community Building, 330 Oak St., Canfield. Participating will be 10 quilt shops. The public is welcome and refreshments will be served.

LIBRARY FRIENDS

• Austintown Friends of the Library will meet at 10 a.m. Sept. 21 at the community room of the library. Master Gardeners Stanley and Linda Vuletich will share information on growing dahlias. The public is welcome.

• The St. Rose Catholic Women’s Club will meet Sunday after the 9:30 a.m. Mass to proceed to Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park for Sunday Brunch at the Davis Center. There will be no Monday night meeting on Sept. 14.

• St. Rose Quilting Group will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the parish house.

• Youngstown Council of Catholic Nurses will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at The Manor, 314 S. Canfield-Niles Road. Monsignor Peter Polando will officiate a Mass for departed members. A business session will follow.
