ACTORS

“South Pacific.” Spotlight Players, East Palestine Community Theater (formerly The Lighthouse), 30 N. Market St., East Palestine. “Miracle on Easy Street.” Easy Street Productions, 865 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown. Auditions are Sept. 20 for experienced dancers. Must be 12 or older and available for all rehearsals beginning in November. Auditions for age 12-15: tap, 1-1:45; jazz, 1:45-2:30; age 16 and older: tap, 3-3:45; jazz, 3:45-4:30 p.m. Performances in December. (330) 743-8555.

MUSICIANS

Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra. Tri-C Metropolitan Campus Auditorium, downtown Cleveland. Auditions are ongoing for section strings (violin, viola, cello and bass), substitute brass and percussion for the 2009-10 season. Rehearsals are 7:30-10 p.m. Thursdays.
