WEDNESDAY

• Pricetown Methodist Church, 4640 Pritchard-Ohltown Road, Newton Falls, will serve spaghetti dinners from 5 to 6:30 p.m. today. Meals include salad, bread, homemade desserts and beverages. The cost is $7 for adults, $3.50 for children 6 to 12, and free for those 5 and under. Carryouts will be available.

THURSDAY

• Calvary United Methodist Church of North Lima will have a drive-through chicken dinner from 4-6 p.m. or until sold out. The dinner consists of baked chicken, stuffing, baked potato, green beans and a brownie. The cost is $6 per dinner. No need to get out of the car — just drive to the door and someone will bring the dinner to you. The church is located at the corner of routes 164 and 165 in North Lima.

• Col. Louis J. Campbell VFW Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals will include meatballs, salad, bread and butter, and coffee. Cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 8. Carryout orders are $6.50 and will be available only until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.

• VFW Triangle Post 2799 Auxiliary, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve spaghetti dinners with meatballs, salad, bread and coffee or tea from 4 to 7 p.m. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12. Carryouts are $6.25.

FRIDAY

• First Presbyterian Church, 28 E. Park Ave., Columbiana, will serve Swiss steak dinners from 4-7 p.m. The $8 price includes mashed potatoes, green vegetable, roll, beverage, and dessert. Eat in or carry out. To reserve orders, call (330) 482-2666.

• Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8 :30 to 11 a.m. Friday at (330) 755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Orders may be picked up from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.

• Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $9 for adults and $4.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at (330) 792-1005.

• North Bloomfield United Methodist Church, state Route 45, North Bloomfield, will serve roast pork dinners from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Meals include mashed potatoes, stuffing, sauerkraut, vegetable, rolls and pie and cake. • St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown, will sell potato and cheese pirohi. To order, call (330) 799-0084 after 6 p.m. Thursday or after 8 a.m. Friday. Pickup will be from 10 a.m.to 3 p.m. Friday. Cost is $5 per bag of one dozen (no containers needed). Walk-ins are welcome. Patrons are asked to use the side entrance.

• St. Anthony Church, 1125 Turin Ave., Youngstown, will be selling pizza and other Italian treats. Orders may be placed by calling (330) 746-9577 from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. and must be picked up by 1 p.m.

• St. Paul the Apostle Church, Main Street, New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi Orders can be called to (330) 542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.

SATURDAY

• Campbell City Fest Committee will sponsor a chicken and ribs dinner from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the American Legion F.D.R. Post 560 hall 103 12th St., Campbell. The cost is $12 and meals include potato, baked beans, salad, roll and butter. Refreshments and desserts will be available. Takeouts will be available and there will be a 50-50 raffle. • East Palestine Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. at the East Clark Street Fire Station. The cost is $6 for adults, $3 for childen and free for those under 5.

• Fowler United Methodist Church, 3426 Youngstown-Kingsville Road, will serve chicken-pie dinners from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Meals will include potatoes, green beans, applesauce, coleslaw, bread, dessert and beverage. • Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church on Via Mount Carmel, Youngstown, will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the church hall. Cost is $6 for adults and $3.50 for children. Carryouts will be available; containers are $1 or you can provide your own.

• Poland Masonic Temple, 7685 Youngstown-Pittsburgh Road, Poland, will have a Swiss steak dinner from noon until sold out. The cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children 6 to 12 and free for those 5 and under. Carryouts available.

• Boardman United Methodist Church, 6809 Market St., Boardman, will have a ham loaf sale from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $1.25 for each loaf.

TAKING ORDERS

• First United Methodist Church, 3711 state Route 46, Mineral Ridge, will be taking orders for homemade plain, powdered sugar or granulated sugar donuts for Saturday. Orders will be accepted at (330) 652-9554 until Friday.

UPCOMING

• Cortland United Methodist Church, 155 N. High St., will have a drive through dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. Sept. 16. Place orders on the north side of the church and pick it up on the south side. Meals include stuffed chicken breast, gravy, baked potato with sour cream, green beans and a brownie. The cost is $6.

• Heritage Presbyterian Church, 1951 Mathews Road, Poland, will have a spaghetti and meatballs dinner, with salad, bread, dessert and beverage from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Sept. 19. The cost is $7 for adults, $3 for children 6 to 12, and free for those 5 and under. Takeouts will be available.

• Mount Olivet Church, 310 W. South Range Road, North Lima, will have dinners of a barbecued chicken, roast potatoes, coleslaw or applesauce, fruit, cookie and beverages from noon to 3 p.m. Sept. 13 Sunday. The cost is $10 for adults and $7 for those under 12.

• The Rotary Club of Champion will sponsor an all-you-can-eat buffet-style Amish dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sept. 26. Featured will be chicken, roast beef, stuffing, real mashed potatoes and gravy, homemade bread, green beans, coleslaw and desserts.
