Pooch Pentathlon Sunday at Boardman YMCA

BOARDMAN — The community is invited to bring dogs to the Davis Family YMCA on McClurg Road for a test of strength, agility and endurance. The 4th annual Pooch Pentathlon takes place at 1 p.m. Sunday.

Dogs will be divided into divisions by size and compete in five events that showcase their swimming and obedience skills. The events include leap dog, fetch, doggie paddle, treasure dive and obstacle course.

Winners will be awarded in each division and each event. Registration is $5. All dogs must be kept on a leash and must have proof of rabies vaccination.
