Date announced for Playforth, Ratliff wedding

Cyndee Playforth and William Playforth, both of Boardman, and James and Celeste Ratliff, 3402 Swallow Hollow, Poland, are announcing the engagement of their children, Carrie Playforth and Christopher Ratliff, both of 90 N. Broad St., Canfield.

The bride-to-be is an agent with Derek Knepper State Farm Insurance in Howland. She graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies.

The prospective groom is employed in the warehouse with Superior Beverage Group, Austintown.

The couple will be married in an open ceremony that will take place at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 7 in St. Michael Church, Canfield. Their evening reception will be by invitation at St. Mary’s Assumption Social Center, Youngstown.
