“America’s Next Top Model” (8 p.m., The CW): “America’s Next Top Model” is back, and Tyra has a new twist — accepting only “short” women who stand 5 foot 7 or under. But, as usual, the addictive reality show won’t be short on drama.

“So You Think You Can Dance” (8 p.m., Fox): Ready for even more fancy footwork? Only weeks after wrapping up its summer session, “So You Think You Can Dance” airs in the fall for the first time. Maybe if we’re lucky, Mary Murphy will lose her voice.

“Glee” (9 p.m., Fox): At last, the freaks and geeks of McKinley High School are back. After debuting with a blissful pilot episode last spring, “Glee” held back on us for four long months. But the wait was worth it. This week’s hilarious second episode has our misfit crooners preparing to perform for the first time in front of the student body. But trouble arises when they reject a planned disco tune in favor of a blatantly sexual number that leaves the faculty aghast.
