CAPE CORAL, Fla. — Robert James Ligotti, 7106 NW 57 Court, Tamarac, Fla., formerly of Poland, and the former Jetty deVeer, 1213 NW 123rd Ave., Pembroke Pines, Fla., were united in marriage during a 5 p.m. May 22 ceremony officiated by the Rev. Jerry Sprague at Cape Christian Fellowship Church.

A reception followed at the home of the groom’s parents, Thomas and Barbara Ligotti, 2539 SW 37th Terrace.

The bride is a daughter of Maria Carbajal, 6730 SW 48th St., Miami, and Jorge Carbajal of Miami.

Jissy Carbajal of Miami was the honor attendant for her sister. She wore a petal pink gown. The bride’s daughter, Daniela deVeer of Pembroke Pines, was flower girl.

The duties of best man were performed by the groom’s brother, Christopher Ligotti of Tamarac, and ring bearer was the bride’s son, Nicholas deVeer of Pembroke Pines.

The bride graduated from Florida Atlantic University in Davie, Fla., with a master’s degree in education. She is a teacher at Palm Cove Elementary School in Pembroke Pines.

The groom is employed in operations with V.E.R. in Davie. He graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a degree in music and video business.

The couple live in Pembroke Pines.
