LIBERTY — The Outer Banks of North Carolina was the honeymoon destination of Jordan M. Gerchak and his bride, the former Ashley R. Lewis, both of 711 N. Highland Ave., Girard, following their July 11 wedding at Pleasant Valley Church.

The Rev. Pattie Elliott officiated at the 3 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Gary Lewis and Deborah Lewis, both of Niles, and the son of Anthony and Cindy Gerchak, 24 Shelby St., Girard. A reception followed at St. Patrick Church Hall in Hubbard.

The bride’s satin trumpet-style gown was enhanced with beaded metallic lace and featured an empire band and bow, a laced up back, and a chapel train.

Chocolate brown gowns were worn by the bride’s sister and honor attendant, Erica Lewis of Niles, and the bridesmaids, Brooke Gagainas and Jade Gagainas, both of Economy, Pa., and the bride’s cousins, Katie Santor and Samantha Santor, both of Jackson Milton. Her cousins Alexis and Alaina Santor of Jackson Milton were flower girls.

Best man was the groom’s brother, Ryan Gerchak of Girard, and groomsmen were another brother, Noah Gerchak of Bristol, Theo Gagainas of Economy, Zack Chill of Austintown, and Anthony Chill of Girard. Ring bearer was the groom’s nephew Micah Gerchak of Bristol.

Mrs. Gerchak is employed in billing with Ohio Institute of Pain Management in Boardman. She attended Youngstown State University. Mr. Gerchak is a sales associate with Sherwin Williams in Niles. They live in Girard.
