Burglar enters home through second floor window

YOUNGSTOWN — A burglar broke into a home in the 3900 block of Howard Street by placing a ladder up against the house and cutting a screen on a second-story window. The resident of the house told police he left home at 6:30 p.m. Sunday and returned at 10:30 p.m. to find his upstairs bedroom ransacked. Missing were a laptop computer, television and $200. Police said the burglar left the ladder and appeared to exit the house through a side door.
