Salem Library offers options for children
SALEM — The Children’s Department at Salem Public Library is offering three options for programming this fall.
The first is Toddler Story Time, a caregiver and child experience for ages 18 months to 3 years. This five-session series will be on Tuesday nights beginning September 15 at 6:30 p.m. and again on Wednesday mornings at 11 a.m. beginning September 16.
Because group size is limited, registration is required. To register for this program, stop by the Children’s Desk at the library or call (330) 332-0042.
Beginning on Oct. 7, the fall session of Preschool Story Time will be offered in the Quaker Room.
This weekly half-hour program is open to preschoolers and includes stories, songs, and finger plays.
Also beginning in October, Family Story Time will be presented in the Quaker Room on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. This program features stories, songs, finger plays and a craft. No registration is required for either of these programs. For a complete listing of story times and themes, visit the library’s Web site at www.salem.lib.oh.us.
