New Philadelphia routs W. Branch

NEW PHILADELPHIA — Will McEwan rushed for 303 yards on 13 carries and scored three touchdowns as New Philadelphia rolled past West Branch 54-7 on Friday.

McEwan scored on runs of 67, 58 and 79 yards, while quarterback Cody Cox threw three touchdown passes, two to Kyle Widder.

New Philadelphia finished with 486 yards rushing and 552 total yards against the Warriors (1-1)

West Branch’s lone touchdown came in the fourth quarter on a 10 yard run by Brenden Wells.
