Cedar Point to add water ride

SANDUSKY (AP) — Cedar Point’s new attraction for next year will leave riders all wet.

The amusement park here says it’s adding a family water ride that will have two drops, one 85 feet and another 49 feet.

Shoot the Rapids will take visitors on a three-minute ride.

The park said Thursday that it will cost $10.5 million and be the most expensive water ride built at Cedar Point.
