The 2009 Glenn Christian Foundation Church 14th Annual Ox Roast runs Friday through Sunday at the Trumbull County Fairgrounds on Everett Hull Road in Bazetta Township. It features free admission, parking and food throughout the weekend.

Friday

Hours: 5 to 10 p.m.

Featuring the Night Before Car Cruise

5 to 7: free car registration, bonfire and hayride, oldies music by D.J. Crazy Dave.

6 to 8: free hot dogs, roasted corn on the cob, pop and coffee.

5 to 10: free carnival rides by Browns Amusements.

9: top 10 trophies awarded

Saturday

Hours: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show

9 a.m. to noon: free registration (good through Sunday); oldies music by Big 106.1 WBBG FM.

10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Red Cross Blood Mobile- Blood Drive

Noon to 2:30: music by 1st Degree Band; oldies music by D.J. Big Rick.

12:45 to 4: free hot dogs, pop and coffee provided.

4:30: top 30 car trophies and 50 motorcycle trophies awarded.

7 to 9: music by Abbey Road, Beetles Tribute Band

Sunday

Hours: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Main Event Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show

9 a.m. to 1 p.m.: free registration

10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Red Cross Blood Mobile- Blood Drive

10:30 a.m.: open-air worship service in the grandstands

Noon to 2:30: music by Sky Pilot Band

Noon to 3: a visit by Porgie the Clown

12:30 to 3: motorcycle fun run

4:30: 288 trophies awarded in 28 classes (registrants must have their registration form to receive trophies); dash plaques given to first 700 car-show registrants.

7: demolition derby in the grandstands (promoted by the Trumbull County Fair Board). Tickets are available at the grandstands. Admission price to be announced.

Ox Roast Grand Finale: fireworks show immediately after the demolition derby.

Also, throughout the day, free roast-beef sandwiches, kids activities by Cortland Party Co.; door prizes; and oldies music by D.J. Keen Gene.
