Author to speak at MVHS dinner

CANFIELD — Mahoning Valley Historical Society will have its 134th annual Founders day dinner from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Sept. 10 in McMahon Hall, at Mill Creek MetroParks Farm, on state Route 46.

The guest speaker will be Mark Peyko, author of “Remembering Youngstown: Tales from the Mahoning Valley.”

Signed copies of the book may be ordered at a 15 percent discount with a dinner reservation
