ACTORS

“25th annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.” Easy Street Productions, 865 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown. “South Pacific.” Spotlight Players, East Palestine Community Theater, (formerly The Lighthouse), 30 N. Market St., East Palestine. Auditions for males and females of all ages are 6 to 9 p.m. Sept. 12 and 2 to 5 p.m. Sept. 13. Bring sheet music and have one vocal selection prepared. Performances are Nov. 6-15. (330) 853-2792.

“Miracle on Easy Street.” Easy Street Productions, 865 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown. Auditions are Sept. 20 for experienced dancers. Must be 12 or older and available for all rehearsals beginning in November. Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra. Tri-C Metropolitan Campus Auditorium, downtown Cleveland. Auditions are ongoing for section strings (violin, viola, cello and bass), substitute brass and percussion for the 2009-10 season. Rehearsals are 7:30-10 p.m. Thursdays.
