ABWA Network council to sponsor fashion show

BOARDMAN — The Network Council of Mahoning Valley, comprising four local chapters of the American Business Women’s Association, will sponsor its 20th annual Fall Fashion Prevue Sept. 20 at Mr. Anthony’s.
Door will open at 12:30 p.m. for a Chinese auction featuring such items as a 32-inch flat screen TV and a cedar chest filled with linens and things. There will also be a 50-50 raffle, and lunch will be served at 2 p.m.
The theme for the event will be “Fall in Love with ABWA,” and fashions will be provided by Dillard’s, Coldwater Creek, Macy’s, and The Limited of Eastwood Mall. Hairstyles will be by Pecchia’s Salon and Day Spa.
The fashions will be modeled by area celebrities, Women of the Year from ABWA chapters and recipients of ABWA scholarships.
Entertainment will be by the master of ceremonies, Cody of Shooting Star Entertainment and Mobile DJ’s.
Tickets for the day will be $25 each, and can be purchased by contacting Mary Lou Murray at (330) 533-8730.
Proceeds will support the educational funds of each chapter and be used to provide college scholarships and ABWA member education.
