CARA TAGLIALAVORE | ANTHONY SHINA
COLUMBUS — Franklin Park Conservatory was the setting at 1 p.m. May 23 for the wedding of Cara Rose Taglialavore and Anthony Shina, both of 5842 N.E. 75th St., Seattle, Wash.
The Rev. Stephen Ames officiated at the ceremony for the daughter of Jean Taglialavore, 108 Mallard Drive, Avon, Conn., and Antoni Taglialavore of Colorado Springs, Colo., and the son of Toni and John (Jack) Shina, 6981 New Road, Austintown.
After a reception at Crowne Plaza Hotel, the couple left for a Mediterranean cruise. They live in Seattle.
The bride’s ivory silk taffeta A-line gown was enhanced with rows of beading.
Peachy pink gowns were worn by Patricia Taglialavore, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Dana Prifti, Megan Pentz, Kimberly Moran, Alyse Klupenger, Ashlie Kempton and Jaclyn Kruse.
Best man was Jared Shina, and groomsmen were Matthew Harkleroad, Peter DiGravio, Joshua Gandy, Christopher Clark, Timothy Anderson and Christopher Adams. Alexander Shina was ring bearer.
The bride is a registered nurse at Seattle Children’s Hospital. She graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and will attend the University of Washington in Seattle in pursuit of a doctor of nursing practice/pediatric nurse practitioner degree.
The groom graduated from OSU with a bachelor’s degree in English, and is a chef at The Ram Restaurant/Brewery in Seattle.
