NEW WATERFORD — Bill Themelaras, associate pastor and a worship leader at Covenant Church of Pittsburgh, will speak and lead worship during the 10:30 a.m. service Sunday at Abundant Life Fellowship, 46469 state Route 46.
Themelaras, who was born and reared in the Wheeling, W.Va., area, began serving God at a young age and became involved in youth mission organizations and eventually began to lead teams of youth in evangelism.
Over the years, his ministry has expanded into worship and the prophetic. From 1995 to 2004, he was leader of the worship team JUDAH, which traveled and recorded two live albums. One of those albums, “A People Possessed,” was recorded with international worship leader Georgian Banov as a guest artist.
He’s been part of the Covenant Church for eight years.
Themelaras’ newest CD, “Keep Me,” is a collection of songs written from different emotional experiences he’s had with the Lord over the years.
Themelaras and his wife, Lynne, have three children.
