HILLIARD — Marriage vows were exchanged at 3 p.m. July 11 at St. Brendan Catholic Church by Kaylin Schlecht and Timothy Ward.

Parents of the couple are Mark and LeAnn Schlecht of Marion and Timothy and Carol Ward of 6383 S. Timberidge, Austintown.

After a reception at Raymond Memorial Hall, the couple spent their honeymoon in Jamaica. They are living in Hilliard.

The bride’s strapless A-line gown of empress taffeta was styled with a corset back and embellished with decorative lace on the bodice.

Leah Boccaccio was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Jodi Skaff; Helena Manesis; Emily Kabbes; Kristi Brevick; Erin Schlecht, the bride’s sister-in-law; and Katie Ward, the groom’s cousin. Flower girl was Payten Buxbaum, the groom’s cousin.

The groom’s brother, Michael Ward, performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Adam Kowalczyk; Cal Solack; Brad Filip; Matt Carins; Brian Ward, the groom’s cousin; and Chris Schlecht, the bride’s brothers. Ryan Schlecht, the bride’s nephew, was ring bearer.

Mrs. Ward holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ohio State University, where she is employed.

Her husband graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He is an engineer with Honda of America Manufacturing in Marysville.
