Six unlikely guests are invited to the legendary Boddy Manor for a dinner party with a billionaire, Mr. Boddy. jDJ Patrick Melcher of California will be on the ones and twos (look that up in the urban dictionary if you must) tonight at O’Donold’s Irish Pub in Austintown Plaza. Melcher is best known as one of the world’s top skateboarders, but he’s also a pretty unique DJ, who works with upbeat ’50s and ’60s rock, soul and doo-wop. The second annual Rosetta Stone Caf and Wine Bar Halloween Bash and costume contest will be indoors this Friday and Saturday, with the Redline band both nights. Last year’s costume contest drew more than 200 participants. It costs $5 to enter, with the winner (who will be announced at the stroke of midnight) taking the entire pot. Fun begins right after work Friday with the zombie crawl (see page 9). Helping to set the stage will be an art exhibition and another contest where partygoers vote for the best employee costume. Wildcat’s Comedy Club opened earlier this year in the Holiday Inn Boardman but suspended activity after a few months. Now it’s back. Beginning Friday, Wildcat’s will be located at Papa’s Sports Club, 1639 Poland Ave., Youngstown. The Clarks were originally supposed to appear at The Cellar this summer, but that show got moved back to this Friday. Halloween shows are haunting local stages. Opening this weekend are “Dracula” at the Youngstown Playhouse and “The Rocky Horror Show” at the Oakland Center for the Arts. “Dracula” will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday. Trans-Siberian Orchestra has become a Christmas tradition in the Mahoning Valley and the entire country.
