COHASSET, Mass. — Holly Farris, daughter of Arlene Farris and Gordon Farris, both of Youngstown, was married at 5 p.m. Aug. 9 to Erik Bunker, son of Meg Bunker of Concord, Mass., and the late Donald Bunker.
The ceremony was solemnized at South Shore Art Gallery by Thomas Welch, and a reception followed at the Red Lion Inn.
The couple honeymooned in New York City and plan a belated honeymoon to Hawaii in February. They are living at 192 Furnace Lane, Pembroke, Mass.
A handmade gown of white imported cotton lace and raw silk was worn by the bride. It featured an off-the-shoulder neckline.
The bride’s sister, Debbie Farris, was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Tracy Skibo, Noreen McBride and Julie Selvitella. They wore pear green gowns. Junior bridesmaids were Brittany Farris, the bride’s niece, and Mia Bunker, the groom’s daughter.
Dave Furey served as best man, and groomsmen were Don Bunker, Tom Sherman and Scott Strazzulo. Usher was the bride’s brother, Lance Farris.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor of fine art degree. She earned a master of fine art degree from Massachusetts College of Art & Design and is a graphic-design instructor at Weymouth High School in Weymouth, Mass.
Mr. Bunker received his bachelor’s of fine art from New England College of Art & Design and a master’s degree in art education from Suffold University in Boston. He is an art instructor at Weymouth High School.
