2 men plead innocent to drug charges

WARREN — Two city men have pleaded innocent to felony charges after the Trumbull Ashtabula Group Law Enforcement Task Force arrested them during raids on homes at 2161, 2180 and 2182 Palmyra Road Southwest.
TAG was assisted Monday by the Trumbull County Sheriff’s office, U.S. Marshals Service and the Warren, Bazetta, Niles and Lordstown police departments.
Leonard E. Bryant, 35, of 2180 Palmyra, pleaded innocent Wednesday in Warren Municipal Court to aggravated drug trafficking. He is being held in the Trumbull County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond. He returns to court at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday.
Richard O. Seay , 41, no address available, pleaded innocent to carrying a concealed weapon and is being held in lieu of $50,000 bond. His preliminary hearing also will be at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday.
TAG said it believed the three homes were being used for the sale of cocaine and stolen property.
Police said they seized crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, a police scanner, ammunition and seven firearms, including a stolen machine gun.
Two other people were arrested on warrants but not charged with new crimes.
