Masons plan to honor veterans at event

YOUNGSTOWN — The 32nd Degree Masons of the Valley of Youngstown invite the veterans of the area and the rest of the public to a special Veterans Day celebration at 7 p.m. Nov. 7 at the Masonic Temple on Wick Avenue.

The guest speaker is Ret. Maj. Thomas A. Ross from Atlanta, who is a veteran of the Vietnam War. Maj. Ross has detailed his experiences in a book, “Privileges of War.” Dessert will be served after the program to give the gathering an opportunity to meet the speaker.
