Chevrolet Cruze launch delayed

LORDSTOWN — The launch of Chevrolet Cruze from the General Motors car plant here has been pushed back several months to make sure everything goes smoothly.

GM said today it plans to launch the new compact car sometime between July and September, instead of April as previously announced.

“We’re using that time to make sure we have a flawless launch,” said Klaus-Peter Martin, a Chevrolet spokesman.
