Police investigating shots fired at girl on East Side

YOUNGSTOWN — Police are trying to determine who fired multiple gunshots from a moving car at a teenage girl.

The 18-year-old Plazaview Court girl told police she was walking in the 800 block of Plazaview Court on the city's East Side at about 5 p.m. Monday when a silver Cadillac pointed a gun at her and fired an unknown number of shots. The driver then continued driving down Plazaview Court.

The woman told police she knows the shooter only by a nickname.
