What to watch

“It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” (8 p.m., ABC): Maybe tonight will be the night. Maybe Linus will finally meet the heroic Halloween gourd he has long awaited in “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.” Then again, maybe not. 8 p.m., ABC. The show re-airs at the same time Wednesday.

“So You Think You Can Dance” (8 p.m., Fox): For the first time this season, the top 20 contestants strut their stuff on “So You Think You Can Dance,” and it’s going to take two full hours to get all the action in.
