AUSTINTOWN — Riviera Maya, Mexico, was the honeymoon destination of John F. Kaminski and his bride, the former Sarah C. Halko, following their 2 p.m. July 11 wedding at St. Joseph Church and reception at St. Mary’s Assumption Social Center, Youngstown.

The Rev. John Trimbur and Deacon Mike Roberts officiated at the ceremony for the daughter of Rita Halko, 2207 Woodland Trail, and the late Thomas Halko, and the son of John and Marita Kaminski, 3853 Dunbar Ave.

The bride wore a beaded strapless ivory satin trumpet-style gown with an attached train.

Black gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Patty Simerlink and Laura Heitzer, and the bridesmaids, Kasey Bland, Angela Catalano, Alyssa Centofanti, Deanna Dipillo, Kara Kaminski, Sara Kaminski, Kristen Mancini, Heidi Monk, Amy Stellutto and Nikki Villella. Flower girl was Cameron Zenko.

The groom’s father was best man, and groomsmen were Tim Basilcoff, Mike Dobransky, Vince Dobransky, Tony Gennaro, Abram Noufer, Gino Pascarella, Scott Resetar, Scott Ross, Tom Halko, Jeff Ryznar, Chris Malensek and Dan Smaltz. Ring bearer was Dylan Mancini.

The bride and groom graduated from Kent State University with bachelor’s degrees, hers in education and his in architecture. She is an English teacher at South Pointe High School in Rock Hill, S.C., and he is a project manager with Moseley Architects in Charlotte, N.C. They live at 4480 Huntingdon Drive, Fort Mill, S.C.
