“Community Connection” (6:30 a.m., WFMJ-TV 21; and 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday on the Time Warner Cable community access channel): The Honorable Justice Michael J. Ryan of the Cleveland Municipal Court will be the keynote speaker for the One Church, One Child adoption program of the Mahoning Children Services on Nov. 7. Ryan will share his story of overcoming obstacles at the event. John Jemison, Gail Manigualt Waters and Anita Wainwright of the Children Services staff will join host Madonna Chism Pinkard to discuss the event.

Next, Kathy Grantonic, board member of the Boys & Girls Club of Youngstown, will discuss the club’s fund-raising campaign and how it has positively affected the South Side.

Finally, Terri Grimmett of the Humility of Mary Health Partners Regional Tobacco Treatment Center will discuss the $223,000 grant received from the Ohio Department of Health to sustain the program to help people stop smoking.
