Halloween chili cookoff and cornhole event are set

LEETONIA — A Halloween chili cookoff and cornhole tournament will take place from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday at Wick Park.

Enter a crock pot of chili for $7, and the winner will get $50. Enter a cornhole team for $12, and the winner receives half of all entrance fees.

The schedule follows: noon to 2 p.m., bounce house; noon to 1 p.m., costume contest; 1-2 p.m., pumpkin painting (take your own pumpkin); 2-4 p.m., cornhole tournament; 4-6 p.m., chili cookoff. Chili, hot dog, drink and dessert will be $5. Early registration is appreciated; call Suzanne Tobuck at (330) 427-6188. The event is sponsored by the LWAC/Revitalization Committee.
