Floyd’s death

The Lou Holtz/Upper Ohio Valley Hall of Fame in East Liverpool will have a fundraiser Saturday to coincide with the Oct. 22 silver anniversary of Pretty Boy Floyd’s death in East Liverpool.

The hall at 120 E. Fifth St. will be converted into a “speakeasy” and will have refreshments and entertainment in keeping with the 1930s time period.

Partygoers will be encouraged to dress in period costume.

Those who bring in a ticket stub from the movie “Public Enemies” will get a dollar off admission to the event.
