Youngstown police host Halloween Party Oct. 31


YOUNGSTOWN — City police are combining safety and fun into one party on Halloween night.

Police Chief Jimmy Hughes and the Citizen’s Police will host a Halloween party from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 31, at the Youngstown Police Department Training Center, 1639 Mahoning Ave. All children ages 4 through 12 are invited to attend. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

There will be games, prizes, refreshments and a puppet show. McGruff the crime dog will also be in attendance.

Police are accepting donations such as hot dogs, buns, juice, soda, chips, candy and prizes.
