Boardman makes big move in football computer ratings

Thanks to a 26-0 victory over Canton GlenOak last Friday, the Boardman High football team made the biggest jump of any Valley team in this week’s OHSAA computer ratings.

The Spartans (6-2), who travel to Canton McKinley this weekend, moved up four spots to No. 6 in Division I, Region 1, in the weekly ratings that determine the playoff teams.

In fact, Boardman switched places with Warren Harding (4-3-1), who dropped to No. 10 following a 39-21 loss to Massillon.
