BAZAARS

• Kinsman Presbyterian Church on Church Street will have a bazaar and turkey dinner on Nov. 7. The Attic Booth will open at 11 a.m., and at noon Ye Old Emporium, Candyland, Bake Shoppe and Senior Citizen’s Booth will open. From 1 to 5, turkey dinners will be served. • St. Joseph Men’s Club will sponsor a Texas Hold ’em event Nov. 7 at the social hall, 4565 New Road, Austintown, where registration will begin at 5 p.m. Admission is $70 and includes free food. • Zion Hill Church, 14550 New Buffalo Road, Columbiana, will sponsor a bazaar and rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 30 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 31. Lunch will be available.

BINGO, CARD PARTIES

• The parish members of Our Lady of Hungary Church, 545 N. Belle Vista Ave., will have a Basket Bingo at 2 p.m. Sunday at the church’s Cardinal Mindszenty Hall. A $5 donation includes lunch. • St. Charles Ladies Guild will have a bingo and card party at 2: 30 p.m. Sunday in the church social hall.

• St. Mark Orthodox Church, 3560 Logan Way Liberty, will have a card party beginning at 5:30 p.m. Thursday. There will be a Chinese auction, door prizes, a 50-50 raffle, baked goods, refreshments and free coffee. Tickets are $5. Chairman Ron Zenko is being assisted by women of the parish. • St. Patrick Altar Guild will sponsor a salad buffet, card, bingo and game day from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the church social hall, 1420 Oak Hill Ave., Youngstown. • T.N.R. of Warren is sponsoring a vendor bingo from 6-9:30 p.m. Nov. 7 at Crest Lanes Bowling Alley Banquet Room, 3390 Youngstown Road S.E., in Warren, Admission is $5 for one bingo card and a chance at a door prize. Additional bingo sheets are $1 each or a donation of supplies (Purina Cat Chow, scoopable cat litter, small foam plates, plastic spoons, tall kitchen garbage bags, and cat toys.) For each additional item you take, you’ll receive one extra bingo card. From 6-7:15, shop vendor booths, and bingo begins at 7:15. Vendors will all donate a portion of sales to T.N.R. of Warren.

CRAFT SHOWS

• Craft vendors are invited to participate in a craft show to be sponsored by St. Jude Women’s Guild from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 21 at St. Jude Activity Center, 180 Seventh St., Columbiana. FUNDRAISERS

• Charlie’s Angels of St. Charles Church in Boardman will have its 2nd annual Fall Harvest of Vendors from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 7 in St. Charles Social Hall on Route 224. Admission and parking are free. There will be a Chinese auction, a 50-50 raffle and refreshments. Take a canned food item and receive a free ticket for the Chinese auction.

SALES

• Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore, 480 Youngstown-Poland Road, Struthers, is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The ReStore carries a wide variety of furniture, including a large selection of couches and many large metal professional office desks; used building materials such as doors, windows, sinks, hardware and plumbing; lighting; home decor items; large and small appliances; electronics; toys; books and much more. All items are sold at low discount prices. ReStore takes donations and sells to the public, all to benefit Habitat for Humanity’s home-building program. • Mount Olivet United Church of Christ, 410 W. South Range Road, North Lima, is having its annual fall Rummage Sale on Nov. 5, 6 and 7 at the church. • Salvation Army Thrift Store in Austin Center, Mahoning Avenue, Austintown, is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. A variety of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and bric-a-brac is available at bargain prices.

TRIPS

• St. Paul Church in Salem is accepting reservations for a holiday bus trip on Dec. 6 to Columbus. The trip package includes tickets to the Columbus Symphony Orchestra’s two-hour matinee of “Holiday Pops 2009” with a chorus, children’s choir and Ballet Met dancers, and a guided tour of Franklin Park Conservatory and the Chiluly Exhibit.
